All You Read is Love reaches £75,000 landmark as 7,000 brand-new books gifted to young people
For the sixth year running, we shared the gift of reading with the children who need it most through our beloved All You Read is Love campaign.

Our cherished annual Christmas book gifting campaign, All You Read is Love, continued to share the joy of reading with young people during December.
Since launching All You Read is Love in 2020, we have gifted £75,000 worth of brand-new books, reaching more than 7,000 children in the North West who need them most.
For 2025, during December, our team personally delivered 2,000 brand-new books to children, schools, charities and other community organisations, ensuring young people across the North West had access to the gift of literacy, imagination and adventure – just in time for Christmas!
For the first time in 2025, All You Read is Love was supported by Children’s Laureate and award-winning author Frank Cottrell-Boyce, as well as the National Literacy Trust, whose recent research revealed just one-in-three children aged between 8-18 enjoy reading in their spare time, the lowest score ever recorded.
For the third consecutive year, we also partnered with specialist global book distributor Publiship, who provided an incredible donation of books in support. Further wonderful contributions were made by major organisations such as Northern Rail, MSB Solicitors and worldwide IT services and consulting firm CGI.
Inspirational organisations.
For 2025, we partnered with inspirational community organisations such as Alfie’s Squad and Bolton Lads and Girls Club, among others, to reach as many young people as possible.
Alfie’s Squad is a non-profit organisation founded by Alfie Fitzsimmons who lost his father to suicide at the age of 15 in 2017, inspiring Alfie to take action and make a difference to the lives of other children who have been bereaved by suicide.
It is the only charity in the UK offering their unique support, with team activities that reduce feelings of isolation while inspiring friendships and increased self-worth for young people aged 6-17, as well as supporting parents and carers.
